ADDRESS:
Little Moon Tattoo
105 Abeel St, Kingston, NY 12401
ARRIVAL: please show up on time. early arrivals cut into breaks/setup times. Late arrivals may interfere with subsequent appointments, so unmentioned lateness beyond 15 minutes may be subject to cancellation without a deposit refund. Late arrivals will be charged an hourly rate based on original appointment start time.
PAYMENTS: DEBIT, CREDIT, ZELLE and CASH accepted. digital payments incur a 3% transaction fee. (VENMO IS NOT ACCEPTED- this is only for your deposit.) if you prefer to pay cash and avoid the fee find an ATM BEFORE arrival, there is not one nearby. Your deposit fee will be subtracted from the overall tattoo cost at the end of your appointment.
APPOINTMENT PREP: you do not need to prep your skin, I will clean and shave the area. shower before the appointment. This will provide the most sanitary procedural and healing experience, as it is not always easy or recommended to shower/bathe with a new tattoo. Its a good idea to use moisturizer preceding and day of your appointment. Wear loose fitting clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area. Bring zip/button-up layers that allow for partial covering incase you get cold or want more coverage. Don’t wear light colors or anything too precious, as tattoo ink will permanently stain clothing. eat and drink before the appointment.
NUMBING CREAM: i do not provide numbing cream. you are welcome to use your own, but time for application and setting will be added to the appointment’s hourly rate. To save time and money I recommend applying the cream an hour (or whatever is recommended by brand) before the appointment, covering the area with saran wrap, and wearing the wrap to the studio. i will remove the wrap when we begin prep. If you decide to use a numbing cream and it compromises some aspect of the tattoo procedure or healing I am not responsible! Historically i have had good experiences with Zensa numb cream but i don’t have a lot of other brand knowledge and experience.
TOUCH UPS: i offer free touch ups within 6 months of the day you got your tattoo. I recommend waiting at least a month before getting a touch up so you can see exactly how the tattoo changes as it heals. sometimes touch ups are needed if fine lines heal a bit spotty, which is a normal part of the healing process. I offer touch ups as a way to improve flaws in my work, NOT to repair damage done to that tattoo as a result of your poor hygiene/caretaking. deciding you want to add something to the tattoo like more detail, additional lines/black fill is NOT considered a touch up. you will have to book an additional appointment for add-ons to previous work ive done.
